Shipping to AK, HI, APO, AEO, and U.S. Territories

We ship USPS Priority or Parcel Select, with an option for First Class mail for orders that are under a pound and less than $40.00.

Priority mail generally takes 4-5 business days in transit to HI and AK from the date of shipping. First Class and Parcel Select may take up to 8-10 business days. However, this is NOT a guarantee, and delays occur in the postal system. Please visit our customer service page for complete policy information.

Your final shipping charge will be the actual postage and insurance plus $2.00 handling. Shipping will not show up accurately in the shopping cart, especially for bulky items like wool stuffing and roving. You'll receive a tracking number so you can track your package at the US Postal web site: www.usps.gov.

If you need it quickly and want Priority Mail only, please leave a note in the comments section during checkout. The shipping will be the actual cost plus $2.00, which will likely. exceed the shopping cart amount.

International Shipping: what countries do we ship to?

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Please note that all international orders must be by credit card only.
Purchase order and check orders are for U.S. orders only.
OTHER COSTS: Please note that countries may have customs, taxes or VAT fees, these are not included in the shipping: shipping charges ARE for the shipping cost only.

COUNTRY RESTRICTIONS: Only certain countries maintain tracking standards that allow us to know orders have been delivered and to insure them accordingly.
Other countries do not have USPS compatible tracking, so we have no way of knowing if they have been delivered. The countries we do ship to are listed. Please note a shipping liability release is needed from you for the countries without tracking and delivery confirmation. If your country is not listed, we do not ship there.

How much will postage cost?

Shipping will not show up accurately in the shopping basket. Your final shipping charge will be the actual postage and insurance plus $5.00 handling.

We will not contact you with shipping costs. If you need an estimate of what shipping will cost, you can visit the U.S. Post site shipping cost calculator and see what the approximate cost is by estimating the package weight.

Generally, the automated amount in the shopping cart reflects Priority mail postage prices. Orders under 4 pounds can also be shipped first class mail. This is slower and less secure, but much less expensive.

If you prefer first class mail, please type that in the instructions box during checkout. We will reduce the shipping amount to first class mail before your card is charged.

The lesser amount won't show up online, we'll reduce the order total as we process your order.

Orders under $30.00 will be shipped first class mail.

How long will it take to reach me?

We email you a tracking number so you can track your package.

FOR CANADA: We are seeing most Priority mail packages take 9-13 calendar days, with some ONT. orders taking 4-6 days. First class mail is slightly slower. OTHER COUNTRIES: It can be variable. Usually it arrives within 14 days, please note that USPS published delivery times are NOT a guarantee, and we cannot be responsible for delivery problems and delays. We occasionally see long delays in customs. Please note we have no control over how a country handles customs and security clearance time lines. Please note once the package leaves the U.S., we cannot track it beyond our border. Once it has been shipped, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact their postal system to track the package using the tracking information sent to you at the time of shipping. Customs fees and charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Please note, while packages are insured against loss or damage, any claims MUST BE FILED WITHIN 60 DAYS of shipping for a claim to be honored (postal regulations, not ours). It is your responsibility to let us know immediately if your package has not arrived a 60 days after shipping so we can claim insurance for you.

We do not mark the customs tag as a "gift" or "commercial sample", or value the order at less than what you paid. Doing any of those things is not legal.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Almost all packages are delivered without incident.

However, we are seeing security delays in some countries. We do insure your package for the contents, and if the tracking shows the package lost or damaged, we will file an insurance claim for you to reclaim the value of the contents. Please note the postage costs are not refundable.

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR PACKAGE BY 30 DAYS, YOU MUST NOTIFY US. We will start an investigation to track or find your package.
The Postal Service will will start an investigation after 30 days. If we have not heard from you within 60 days of shipping, we will be unable to file an insurance claim for you. Please note it is your responsibility to notify us if case of non-delivery.
